Xinmeiteng will present the TDB-2200 automatic horizontal splitting machine at the exhibition opening in Shanghai on 2 November. Visitors to the stand will see a full-servo horizontal splitting machine that turns a PU foam block into sheet from 0.5 mm to 70 mm, with a cutting size of 3000 × 2200 × 1250 mm and a thickness tolerance of ±0.05 mm in the 0.5–2 mm band.
The demonstration is aimed at foam converters, mattress and furniture manufacturers, and packaging producers who need thin sheet at a repeatable thickness. Machine settings, knife care and sheet handling will be shown on the stand, and the technical team will be available to discuss block sizes, target sheet thickness and line layout.

The TDB-2200 is controlled by a full set of servo motors, which gives fast and repeatable movement of the cutting unit. The result is a stable sheet thickness across the full block width and a cutting cycle that keeps pace with a lamination or packing line. The machine is intended for the PU sponge processing industry, where sheet is the input for lamination, mattress build-up, cushion assembly and protective packaging.
What separates this model from a standard horizontal splitting machine is the knife care package. The machine carries automatic knife grinding and automatic knife entry feeding, so the cutting edge is maintained during production rather than left until the end of a shift. The grinding unit also includes a dust blowing cleaning function and a lighting device, which keep the grinding area clear and let the operator see the edge condition while the machine is running.

Horizontal splitting is the step that converts a cured PU block into usable sheet. The TDB-2200 accepts a block up to 3000 × 2200 × 1250 mm and slices it into sheet that feeds lamination, mattress panel build-up, cushion production or packaging conversion. Because the machine is 8300 × 6200 mm on the floor, the stand team will also discuss site layout, block handling and the space needed at the infeed and take-off sides.
For plants comparing options, the practical question is the thickness band that matters particularly. Where thin sheet at a tight tolerance is the main product, the servo control and the ±0.05 mm band in the 0.5–2 mm range are the relevant figures. Where thicker sheet is the main product, the same machine covers the range up to 70 mm, and the knife care package keeps the cut face consistent across the full block.
The TDB-2200 will be on display in Shanghai on 2 November. Visitors are welcome to bring material samples and discuss sheet thickness, block size, output per shift and line integration with the technical team. For an appointment, send the block dimensions, the target sheet thickness, the material grade and the required output, and the team will prepare a configuration and quotation for the discussion.
Xinmeiteng supplies foam cutting machinery for PU sponge, EVA, PE, EPE and related materials, covering vertical cutting, horizontal splitting, contour cutting, edge trimming and recycling equipment. The Shanghai exhibition is an opportunity to see the TDB-2200 in operation and to compare it with the wider range in one visit.
